Booking Confirmation:

 

• Your booking request isn't a confirmed tour booking.  

• Tour confirmation will be provided by English Wine Escapes only upon receipt of full payment.

• Once full payment is received, we will reserve the date for your tour and confirm the specific itinerary with the vineyards.

• The payment and tour booking confirmation email sent by English Wine Escapes serves as your official booking confirmation. Please retain a copy for your reference.

• In the event that you do not receive the booking confirmation after making the payment, please contact us. Please also check your spam mailbox to ensure it has not been redirected there.

 

Cancellations and Refunds:

 

• You may cancel your booking within 7 days of placing the booking, provided it is at least 4 weeks prior to the tour date. Refunds will not be provided outside of these conditions.

• If you need to change your booking after the cancellation period has expired, please contact us. We will make every effort to assist you by rescheduling your tour to a different date, subject to availability. However, please note that rescheduling is not guaranteed, and if not possible, you will be charged for the tour.

• You have the option to reassign your booking to another person if you are unable to attend the tour.

• Special offers cannot be canceled and rebooked. This policy applies to all special offers.

• In the event that you or any members of your tour arrive late and miss the tour pick-up, we are unable to offer a refund.

 

Tour Itineraries:

• Pick-up and drop-off times provided are approximate and subject to traffic conditions.

• We reserve the right to modify our standard tour itineraries at any time and at our discretion. Such changes will only be made due to circumstances beyond our control and when necessary. In such cases, we will arrange alternative arrangements of comparable value.

• The vehicle you travel in may vary depending on the size of the group on the tour. We cannot guarantee a specific vehicle.

• Tours will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

 

On the day of the tour:

• While travelling in any English Wine Escapes vehicle, you must comply with all English road laws.

• The staff member driving the vehicle may make decisions in the interest of the safety of staff, customers, and vineyard staff.

• Failure to comply with instructions from English Wine Escapes staff members, engaging in violent behaviour, or causing disturbance to others may result in your removal from the tour.

• If you are refused the right to continue the tour, we will not be liable for any refund, compensation, or additional costs incurred by you.

• We cannot accept liability for the behaviour of other tour participants.

• During the tour, your tour guide may take photographs/videos that may be used on the English Wine Escapes website and social media channels. If you do not wish to be photographed it is absolutely fine, just please inform the tour guide.

Insurance:

​

• English Wine Escapes does not provide travel insurance coverage. If required please obtain adequate travel insurance to protect yourself.

• We do not accept responsibility for any injuries or losses incurred by you during the tour.

• We are not liable for any damage, theft, or loss of personal belongings throughout the duration of your tour. While the vehicle is always locked, any items left inside are done so at your own risk.

Complaints:

 

• In the unlikely event that you have a complaint that needs resolving, please inform a member of the English Wine Escapes team as soon as possible. We will make every effort to resolve the matter promptly.

• If the complaint cannot be resolved immediately by our staff during the tour, please submit your complaint in writing to English Wine Escapes. We will respond to your complaint within twenty business days.

 

Payments:

• Payment processing services for customers of English Wine Escapes are provided by an external provider and are subject to their terms of service. English Wine Escapes has no control over these terms.

• If you prefer to wire the booking fee directly to English Wine Escapes, you can request our bank account details.

 

By purchasing a tour from English Wine Escapes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
